Old Town Spring hosts two festivals in the spring
and three festivals in the fall. |
Springfest, the Wine & Art
Festival, Texas-style
|
The 12th Annual Wine and Art Festival begins Saturday,
March 6th. Visitors can sample wines from Texas
vineyards and purchase their favorite wine by the bottle at
the Springfest Wine Store. Imported and micro beers will
be on tap at the Budweiser Beer Wall. Local Texas
artists and artisans will display their work and answer
questions about their art. A wide range of products
produced or made in Texas will be offered by Go Texas
vendors. Join us Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday
from 11 am to 5 pm.

| Texas Crawfish & Music Festival |
|
The 24th Annual Texas Crawfish & Music
Festival will be the last three weekends of April, 2010.
Live entertainment will perform on three stages, great Cajun
food will be served and carnival rides will provide fun for
all ages.

"Hop Back to the
Fifties" and enjoy the 26th Annual Long Horn Rod Run.
Over 500 custom muscle cars will be on display in Old Town
Spring and car buffs of all ages will be on hand to browse and
admire. The owners of the antique cars will compete in
various categories for prizes and awards. Vehicles from
all eras will be on display - those from the '60s as well as
the older classics dating from the early
1900s.

Pet
Fest |
|
The 5th Annual Petfest will
showcase not only dogs and cats but also little critters like
ferrets, hamsters and rabbits. Rescue groups, service
groups and specialized groups will have booths to educate the
public about animals. Blessing of the Animals, fashion
shows, contests, micro-chipping, pet photography and
demonstrations will be featured during the two-day
event. Yappy Hour will be held on Saturday night for
pets and the people they
own.

The 30th Annual Home
for the Holidays will celebrate the 2010 season beginning
November 6th.
Entertainment on the Museum Stage and strolling
entertainment can be enjoyed on Saturdays and Sundays. Over 150 shops
decorated with red bows, thousands of twinkling lights and
ropes of garland will welcome visitors to another festive
season of unique shopping for Christmas. The shops will open
every day - some with extended hours. Photos with Santa will
be available at Santa’s Workshop located behind the Spring
Historical Museum.
The Christmas Train will be making stops around the
town to the delight of many youngsters and a complimentary
horse and carriage ride can be enjoyed by folks of all
ages. The Old
Town Spring Lighting Ceremony will be held just after sundown
on November 6th.
