Shoppers can stroll along tree-lined streets, or relax in the gazebos and benches throughout the town. Browse over 150 shops, boutiques, museums, galleries, restaurants, antique shops, and wineries.

The restaurants are as diverse as the shops.

Old Town Spring hosts five major festivals each year, inluding the popular Texas Crawfish and Music Festival. Other events are usually going on each month that offer fun, food, and unique shopping experiences.

History lovers can wander through two museums. The Spring Historical Museum is filled with memorabilia about the early days of Spring and the culture at that time. It is located at the west entrance to town and is open Thursday through Sunday. The Civil War Museum is located at Thyme Square on Noble Street and is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday.

Shopping

Old Town Spring has original artwork, leatherwork, jewelry, woodwork and clothing for adults and children.

Quilts, western furnishings, art and sculptures, ceramics, glasswork, toys, dolls, puppets and plush animals, bird houses and feeders, soaps and toiletries, herbal therapies, lotions, oils, candles, floral arrangements and figurines are more of the interesting items to be found.

Edibles include unique foodstuffs, such as gourmet pepper sauces and seasonings, candies and fudge, jams and jellies, bread and soup mixes and cappuccino and herbal teas.

Restaurants - Food - Pubs

There are tearooms, sandwich shops, snack bars and family-style restaurants.

The fare ranges from bagels and cream cheese to homemade bread and soups to fresh baked muffins and homemade desserts.

Heftier foods such as chicken fried steak, barbeque and, of course,
"the best hamburgers in Texas"
round out the menu opportunities.

Old Town Spring is also home to
two wineries with tasting rooms.
